Job summary

Ford & Stanley Select in Leeds is recruiting a Shift Production Manager to lead depot engineering operations, overseeing maintenance, servicing, cleaning, defect rectification and train movements to keep fleet available while meeting safety standards.

You will manage frontline production teams on shift, make real-time decisions, drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and rail industry requirements in a busy, safety-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in rail/rolling stock or safety-critical eng.
• NEBOSH certificate or working towards NEBOSH.
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead depot production teams to deliver scheduled maintenance, servicing, cleaning and defect rectification.
• Manage day-to-day depot operations to achieve fleet availability targets.
• Ensure compliance with technical, engineering and safety standards across the depot.
