Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a well established manufacturing business in Gloucester to recruit a Shift Production Manager. The role leads production across rotating day and night shifts, delivering safety, quality and productivity improvements and ensuring customer requirements are met.

You will drive performance, develop team leaders and operators, and implement continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced FMCG/manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Production Manager, Shift Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance improvements.
• Knowledge of KPI management and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Health & Safety focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead production teams across shift operations.
• Drive performance against production, quality and safety KPIs.
• Ensure production schedules and customer requirements are met.
• Lead, motivate and develop team leaders and operators.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor labour utilisation, efficiency and operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company procedures.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams to optimise performance.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
