Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Shift Manager to join our team at Vistry Works in our flagship factory in Coalville, Leicestershire.

As a Production Shift Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Manufacturing and the Head of I-Joist and Trusses. You will be responsible for managing the entire production team during your shift, which includes two shift supervisors, several working supervisors, and over 100 factory operatives within a timber engineering manufacturing facility. Your role involves overseeing all automated and manual production lines, ensuring the highest standards of safety, environmental responsibility, and product quality.

This is a new role within our current facility, aimed at establishing a new team for an afternoon shift scheduled from 14:00 to 22:30, Monday to Thursday, and 14:00 to 20:00 on Fridays.
