Job summary

IPS, part of the Culina Group, is recruiting a Production Line Supervisor at the Saint Helens site to lead co-packing and manufacturing operations for major UK retailers. You will drive safety, quality and productivity, coaching teams across shifts in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Reporting to site management, you will ensure targets are met, optimise production efficiency, and maintain compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment.
• Proven supervisory or team leader experience with track record of targets.
• Good understanding of manufacturing machinery and processes.
• Strong leadership to motivate diverse workforce.
• Excellent problem-solving and quick decision-making.
• Health & Safety Level 2 and NVQ Level 2 in Team Leading or Packing Operations would be advantageous.
• Proactive continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Production Line Leaders and Operatives across shifts.
• Motivate teams to achieve hourly and daily production targets.
• Monitor product quality against client and industry specs.
• Maximise production efficiency to meet plans hourly and daily.
• Use integrated management systems to support operations.
• Uphold health, safety and quality standards with routine checks.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce waste and costs.
• Ensure paperwork and system updates are completed accurately.
