Job Title: Shift Operator

Your Responsibilities
  1. Process crude/part and fully refined oils from delivery to blending and loading for use in the food & feed manufacturing industry.
  2. Operate processes including chemical & physical neutralisation, interesterification, deodorisation, bleaching, tank farm management, loading & blending.
  3. Monitor and review plant conditions to ensure optimal operation.
  4. Manage process changes and react promptly to optimize operations, minimize delays, and meet demand.
  5. Adhere to ADM’s health & safety commitments.
  6. Maintain housekeeping standards across the site.
  7. Complete all documentation accurately and timely, including shift handovers, process checks, and delivery notes.
  8. Serve as the first response for maintenance issues and assist with investigations.
  9. Coordinate duties as assigned by the shift manager.
  10. This role is part of a Collective Agreement.

  1. GCSE Levels A to C or 9 to 4 (or equivalent) including English, Maths, and Science.
  2. Basic experience with Microsoft Office packages.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Good problem-solving skills.
  5. Reliable and results-oriented.
