About the role

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to coordinate our daily logistics requirements. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, including storage and dispatch of volume orders and goods.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist operational management by initiating, monitoring, and reporting on warehousing activities and staff performance during your designated shift.
  • Manage productivity by communicating job expectations, monitoring stock movement, and ensuring deadlines are met safely and efficiently.
  • Use digital tracking software to track and trace orders, maintaining accurate records.
  • Support recruitment and staff training, keeping records in line with company policies.
  • Supervise safe and efficient operations within established guidelines to meet OPS standards and shift outcomes.
  • Support the Operations Managers in achieving Site Key Performance Indicators.
