Job Title: Restaurant Floor – Shift Manager

Salary: £26,200 per annum

Location: United Kingdom

Experience Required: Experience of working in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) / Fast Food Restaurant.

Job Description: The Tim Hortons Restaurant Floor - Shift Manager position assists the restaurant manager in managing all aspects of the restaurant's day-to-day operations to ensure standards around people, products, cleanliness, and an Exceptional Customer Experience are fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensures high standards of the customer experience are always maintained.
  2. Resolves customer complaints and turns potentially negative situations into positive ones.
  3. Motivating and encouraging a team to achieve targets and deliver the best possible customer experience.
  4. Taking responsibility for the presentation of products, ensuring they are correctly merchandised and stocked to agreed levels.
  5. Understands and can lead the team to achieve key performance indicators set for the restaurant daily.
  6. Displays knowledge of and works within compliance to applicable legislation including food safety, health and safety, and employment standards.
  7. Responsible for the opening and closing of our restaurants.
  8. Maintaining operational standards within the restaurant, such as product quality, food hygiene standards, customer experience, speed of service and hospitality, restaurant cleanliness, and team’s presentation.
  9. Supports management team to achieve a B and above on Store evaluation scores on audits viz Restaurant Excellence Visit (REV).
  10. Education of employees regarding the restaurant's health and safety policies.
Requirements:
  1. Must have a flexible and disciplined approach to work.
  2. Some experience of working in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR).
  3. Able to work as part of a team and on their own.
  4. Must be educated to Higher Secondary School/ RQF Level 3/BTEC /A Levels.
  5. Fluent in the English Language (Minimum B1 level).
  6. Knowledge of Food hygiene would be advantageous.
  7. Understanding of Health & Safety procedures is desirable.
