Job Description:

Our Newcastle Transport branch is seeking an experienced Shift Manager.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Who are we?

Loomis UK is a cash handling company supporting businesses throughout the UK with cash and coin collection and delivery services, ATM management, and replenishment services.

The role

As a Shift Manager, you will join a supportive and friendly team, providing vital cash transportation services in your local area.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily branch operations, managing Delivery Drivers & Vault Operatives, ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with customer service standards.

You will promote our “Customer First” approach through product knowledge and understanding of Loomis solutions, aligning with customer needs and quality standards.

The role requires flexible working hours, and as a key holder, you may be required to respond to alarms outside regular hours on a roster basis.

About you

To succeed, you need previous experience as a Shift Manager or similar, with strong leadership skills.

You should be confident in communication, have high integrity, attention to detail, and be a team player.

Exceptional customer and commercial focus, with the ability to review performance and deliver customer satisfaction, is essential.

Experience in customer management and leadership is required.

Specific criteria

You must pass criminal record, credit, and ID checks.

You need a verifiable 5-year employment/unemployment/educational history.

An SIA license is beneficial but not essential; we can support you in obtaining one.
