Job summary

Heron Foods in Bridlington is seeking a proactive Shift Manager to lead daily store operations. This full-time role (36 hours/week) offers a chance to energise the team, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain store standards throughout shifts.

You’ll drive performance, manage stock, and take ownership of opening and closing duties, all while delivering great value and a fantastic shopping experience for customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Shift Manager, you'll play a central role in the store’s daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and motivating the team during your shift to maintain high store standards
• Providing excellent customer service and confidently handling customer queries
• Keeping the store well-presented and fully stocked
• Supporting stock deliveries and efficient stockroom management
• Acting as a keyholder, with responsibility for store opening and closing
