Job summary

Greggs plc is hiring a Shift Manager to lead store teams and ensure excellent customer service across all channels. You’ll supervise a team in the absence of the Store Manager, motivate staff, manage daily operations, and uphold Greggs’ standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and motivate the team to maintain high store standards.
• Lead by example, serve customers quickly and warmly.
• Prepare products, manage ovens, and ensure displays are stocked.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and presentable.
• Oversee shop operations when the Manager is absent.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.You\'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable

£14.20 per hour which includes a 40p per hour band increment.

£15.00 per hour which includes a 70p per hour band increment and a Location Premium of 50p per hour.
