Job summary

Greggs Plc is hiring a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Store Manager isn’t present. You’ll motivate the team, deliver fast, friendly service and oversee shop operations across in-store, delivery, Click + Collect and drive-through channels.

You’ll prepare products, manage ovens, keep displays stocked, maintain a clean, inviting shop, and support an inclusive culture with strong leadership. We offer weekly pay, generous colleague discounts up to 50%, free hot drinks on shift, paid breaks

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong leadership and motivational abilities.
• Excellent customer service standards.

Responsibilities

Job description

Join us as a Shift Manager and you'll be part of a team that loves putting customers first. As part of the management team, you'll be responsible for looking after the shop when the Manager isn't around. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job. We serve our customers across a number of different channels; in-shop, delivery, Click + Collect and drive thru. You'll lead the way in making sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online. While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable

You'll be reliable and demonstrate natural leadership abilities, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
