Job summary

Greggs in Tyldesley is seeking a Shift Manager to help lead the shop when the Store Manager isn’t on duty. You’ll inspire the team, deliver fast, friendly service, and ensure the shop runs smoothly across in-store, delivery, Click+Collect and drive-thru channels.

You’ll prepare products, keep displays stocked, manage ovens, and maintain clean, inviting premises. The role offers 30 hours per week, £13.80 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package including discounts, free drinks, paid breaks

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Reliable with leadership abilities and a commitment to great service.
• Availability to work the stated hours and shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver excellent results and maintain shop standards.
• Lead by example, serving customers quickly and politely.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches, and manage ovens.
• Keep displays stocked with a wide selection for customers.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
