Job summary

Wendy's Drake Circus in Plymouth is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced restaurant team and uphold high food-safety standards. You’ll coach staff, handle customer issues with a confident, friendly approach, and ensure the team delivers great guest experiences.

We offer a target bonus of 10% and flexible working arrangements with no zero-hour contracts, plus meals on shift and opportunities for progression. Travel to other Wendy’s locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people in a food-service environment.
• 1 year line operations experience with demonstrated ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Wendy's restaurant team with a fun, fast, friendly approach.
• Handle customer issues professionally and act as a leader on shift.
• Ensure new team members are trained and onboarded effectively.

What you'll do:

• If a Wendy’s restaurant was a person, it’d be you: fun, fast, friendly and never out of bacon.
• Whatever comes up with a customer - good or bad - you handle it like a leader.
• You get how things work here, and make sure new team members know it, too.
• You make sure food safety standards and procedures are on point

What you bring to the table:

• Experience of leading people, even better if you did it in a food service environment.
• 1 year of line operations experience; with demonstrated ability to lead and manage operations in a fast-paced environment.
• 1 year of management experience.
• Fully flex work availability

You must be willing and able to:

• Travel to other Wendy’s locations (restaurants, area office, etc.) as needed.
• Stand and move for most - if not all - of your shift.
