A major fast-food chain in Manchester is seeking a Shift Manager to lead operations in a high-volume restaurant. Responsibilities include managing a large team, ensuring quality customer service, and solving operational problems. Ideal candidates have experience in retail or hospitality and possess excellent leadership skills. The role includes flexible shift patterns and a comprehensive benefits package.
As Shift Manager you will accomplish all shift work requirements by orienting, assisting and coaching employees. You will ensure all standards are met by following production, productivity, quality and customer service standards. You will be monitoring operations, reallocating resources and solving operational problems. You will be working within a £multi-million restaurant and managing a team of 80 or more employees. You will be part of the management team that will drive your restaurant forward by building sales, growing profitability and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
This position is open to people who have experience managing and leading teams within retail, hospitality, business or a customer-focused environment. The role is restaurant-based and involves working changeable shift patterns including weekends and bank holidays. You will work a variety of day parts, including breakfast, evenings and overnights (if trading 24hrs) to become accustomed to shift work and gain experience in all aspects of the business.

Premium Shift: If you work overnights, between midnight and 5am, you'll earn extra pay. Every team member, including hourly-paid workers, earns above the national minimum wage.
