Job summary

GXO in Desford is seeking a Shift Manager to lead our warehouse operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and high performance on site. You will oversee shift teams, deliver briefings, manage inventory with WMS and devices, and keep payroll data current in Oracle/Kronos.

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Shift Manager to lead our warehouse operations at our Desford site, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence every day.

At Hinkley Point C, we’re building two new nuclear reactors – the first in a new generation of power stations delivering zero-carbon electricity to six million homes. As a Tier One partner to Nuclear New Build (NNB), we provide essential warehousing and transportation services.

This is a full-time permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 06:00 to 18:00. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to£40,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). A company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and death in service.
