Job summary

Relay is reshaping logistics with a fast-growing, equity-backed culture. As Shift Manager, you will oversee sortation, recruit and train operatives, and lead a high-performing team while upholding safety standards across the site.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to improve efficiency and service quality, driving the business forward in a dynamic, results-driven environment. This role includes day and night shifts and a strong emphasis on hands-on leadership.

• ~160 people, around half in engineering, product and data

The Opportunity

As the Shift Manager at Relay, you can expect to have the following responsibilities

• Overseeing sortation operations during your shift to ensure targets are met
• Supporting with recruitment, onboarding, and training of site operatives
• Leading, motivating, and coaching your team to high performance
• Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld and continuously improved
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to drive efficiency and service quality
• Collaborating with stakeholders to support the wider success of the site
