Job summary

Greggs plc in Addlestone is looking for a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Manager isn’t present and to keep customers first. You’ll motivate the team to deliver outstanding service and ensure the shop runs smoothly during your shift.

You’ll inspire the team, serve customers quickly and help prepare products like sandwiches while ovens are managed. This role offers weekly pay and a range of benefits to support you.

Job description

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first. As part of the management team, you’ll be responsible for looking after the shop when the Manager isn’t around. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers across a number of different channels; in-shop, delivery, Click + Collect and drive thru. You'll lead the way in making sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable
