Job description

The advertised post is for 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Sunday participating on a 5-person rotary shift pattern working on a 4 on, 4 off basis, the post holder will be required to provide shift cover for annual leave and sickness as required.

Experience of the following is not essential but would be beneficial: Electrical distribution systems, generators, CHP, nurse call systems, fire alarm systems, boiler plant, steam and condensate systems, HVAC, compressors, and piped medical gases.

Ideally you will have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship gaining Advanced City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with five years post apprenticeship experience, working on mechanical and electrical plant and equipment. However, candidates who can demonstrate relevant experience will be considered.
