Job summary

Tarmac Trading Limited in Stanford-le-Hope is seeking a Shift Maintenance Fitter to join our team. The role involves day-to-day maintenance on production machinery across the block manufacturing site, with shifts varying between days and nights.

The successful candidate will have experience in manufacturing, be self-motivated, and capable of recording work in the CMMS system while ensuring SHE standards are met. IOSH training is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
• Experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Welding and/or pipefitting experience would be advantageous.
• Skilled with hand tools, bearing presses and fitting tools.
• IOSH training is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day maintenance on production machinery, including planned and reactive tasks.
• Record all work in the site CMMS system.
• Meet statutory and SHE standards as a minimum.
• Work across multiple plant areas on a planned or reactive basis.
