Qualifications

• Recognized engineering apprenticeship or HNC/HND in Engineering with 5+ years in reactive production.
• Experience with building services: boilers, air handling, refrigeration.
• Previous shift work experience and CMMS usage.
• Food sector background and packaging machinery experience.
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action skills.
• Welding skills: TIG and arc preferred.
• Ability to read electrical & mechanical schematics and maintenance methods: PM/CBM/TBM.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical service, repair and replacement of motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves.
• Electrical service, repair and replacement of motors, sensors and control gear.
• Document settings and perform measurements, tests and calibrations.
• Select parts and spares; assess repair vs replacement.
• Propose improvements to increase plant availability, quality, safety.
• Provide technical support to operators and projects department.
• Maintain control measurement and weighing equipment.
• Adhere to hygiene and safety policies.
