Job summary

Owen Mumford Ltd is seeking a Shift Maintenance Engineer for the Chipping Norton site. You will maintain and improve production equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations and maximise asset performance.

You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Process Improvement Engineers to drive efficiency. The role is based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with rotating AM/PM shifts.

Qualifications

NVQ level 3/ONC/HNC or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Hands-on fault finding and repair experience.
Working knowledge of current safety regulations and legislation.

Responsibilities

Carry out repairs on machinery across the site to minimise downtime.
Ensure planned preventative maintenance is carried out correctly and on time.
Troubleshoot machine stoppages and implement required repairs.
Work with Process Improvement Engineers to ensure corrective actions prevent repeats.
Maintain repair and maintenance documentation in line with regulatory guidelines and SOPs.
Monitor spare parts stock levels to ensure availability of equipment.
