Job summary

Subway in Chelmsford is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise daily restaurant operations, ensure food safety, manage product prep, and maintain cleanliness standards. You will schedule and supervise staff, uphold the restaurant's safety and security, and deliver exceptional customer service.

As a key member of the team, you will lead a 4–20 person crew, oversee inventory, handle deliveries, training, opening/closing, and respond to customer concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience in QSR or fast-food operations.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage staff across all levels.
• Computer knowledge or POS system experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations to ensure food safety and cleanliness.
• Schedule and supervise staff; evaluate performance.
• Coordinate and supervise staff to maintain cleanliness per Operations Manual.
• Open and close the store to a high standard and handle deliveries.
• Coach new staff and participate in training.
• Assist in planning events and marketing activities.
• Maintain professional appearance and logging of orders.
