Description Of Position

The Shift Leader works as part of our restaurant teams to ensure we provide exceptional service and delicious food in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. They may work various team member positions and oversee full or partial shifts, including opening and closing the restaurant, maintaining inventory, and ensuring food quality and sanitation standards are met.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Leading, monitoring, coaching, and training team members to ensure operational excellence.
  • Adhering to scheduled and projected labor metrics while monitoring sales during the shift.
  • Completing cleaning duties thoroughly and with integrity.
  • Being proficient in all restaurant positions and working hands-on with team members.
  • Providing an exceptional Guest experience.
  • Ensuring Guest satisfaction by following the Six Service Standards and PLUS 1 as needed.
  • Performing opening and closing managerial duties, including checklists and cash handling.
  • Handling Guest issues or conflicts and reporting them to the General Manager.
  • Managing food orders and storage.
  • Completing daily temperature checks to ensure food safety.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and fun work environment.
  • Communicating effectively with the management team about essential business information.
  • Reporting team member issues or concerns to the General Manager.
Qualifications
  • Team player with good collaboration skills.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Strong communication skills.
Other Requirements
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including overhead lifting.
  • Reliable transportation.
Compensation And Benefits
  • Full-time employees are eligible for medical, 401k, and vacation pay after one year.
  • Hourly pay plus tips.
  • Flexible hours with no late nights.
