Job summary

Tesco is hiring a Shift Lead to help run in-store operations and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will lead a team, coordinate across departments, and step in for the Store Manager when needed.

The role emphasises flexible availability, inclusive leadership, and a commitment to great service for every customer. The position offers shifts with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and opportunities in stores outside the M25.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
