Job summary

Danish Crown UK is seeking a Lead Logistics Operative to support day-to-day coordination, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of goods, with on-shift leadership.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement Operations and Sustainability, you will supervise multi-shift teams and drive continuous improvement across UK sites, including onboarding and training, while contributing to sustainability and commercial goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations.
• Experience managing FIFO/FEFO.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and Arolink.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high accuracy across inbound, storage, picking, and dispatch activities.
• Oversee goods receipt, storage and system updates.
• Monitor stock accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues.
• Ensure safety, quality and compliance in handling and movement of goods.
• Provide day-to-day direction to Logistics Operatives and coordinate workloads.
• Deputise for the Logistics Supervisor as needed.
• Support onboarding, training and coaching of team members.
• Promote safe working practices and hygiene standards.
• Manage throughput, accuracy and service against plan; highlight risks.
