Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Transport Operations Manager to lead day-to-day transport across shifts in Huntingdon. You will coordinate with warehouse, transport and support functions to maintain compliance and achieve service levels.

The role requires a Transport Manager CPC, strong analytical skills and proven team leadership. The ideal candidate will streamline operations, drive safety, and deliver continuous improvement on a fast-paced site; Monday–Friday, permanent, DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience in streamlining daily operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy and service levels.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and engage teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safe, compliant and customer-focused operation during shifts across the site.
• Act as Operator Licence holder for the site and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Deploy resources to maximise productivity and support performance.
• Coach and develop colleagues through feedback and development planning.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions to maintain service levels.
