Job summary

B&Q Ayr is hiring for a Shift Lead on a permanent contract. The role is open to Part Time or Full Time with 33 or 36.75 hours per week. The position includes being a keyholder with opening and closing responsibilities, and a salary of £14.50 per hour, with a full-time equivalent of £27,709.50 plus pension and 6.6 weeks holiday.

Shifts range from early starts to late finishes (6am–10pm). Join as part of Kingfisher’s Ayr team and contribute to excellent customer service and store leadership.

Qualifications

• Keyholder responsibility including opening and closing shifts.
• Permanent contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support store operations with Department Managers to develop and motivate teams.
• Open early (as early as 6am) and close as late as 10pm, ensuring store standards and customer service.
