Job summary

Marks & Spencer Group is seeking a frontline retail associate in Winchester to lead the fill operation and ensure a ready-to-trade sales floor. You will coordinate resources, coach colleagues, and drive productivity ahead of store openings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fill operation, ensuring the sales floor is ready to trade and coordinating resources to Serve, Sell and Fill.
• Coordinate resources to deliver operational tasks during the fill operation and when the Colleague Manager is absent.
• Lead the fill operation, coaching colleagues on One Best Way and driving productivity ahead of store opening.
• Allocate resources to deliver a quick payment experience.
• Ensure daily operational processes are implemented efficiently across the store area at the right times.
• Coordinate the team to maintain a clean, safe and well-presented store.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere that is inclusive of everyone.
• Role model excellent customer service and the M&S behaviours and Colleague Expectations.
• Support Colleague Managers by sharing observations to help high performance and recognise great colleagues.
• Support nearby stores if required operationally.
• Responsible for being a key holder and handling call outs as required.
• Handle opening/closing tasks, including vehicle receipt, temperature controls, and logging issues with Helpdesks; cash handling and TSL compliance in peripheral hours.
