B&Q Inverness is seeking a Shift Lead to manage a busy store during the 5pm–11pm window on weekdays, with occasional weekends. This keyholder role is part-time (18.75 hours weekly) with a permanent contract and a competitive benefits package.

You will lead a team, ensure safety, and deliver great customer experiences while supporting store operations and colleagues across shifts.

Shift Lead

Part Time - 18.75 Hours per week

Shifts available Monday to Friday, 5pm - 11pm with occasional weekends

£14.77 per hour + Pension + 6.6 Weeks Holiday

This is a keyholder position, with shifts ranging from an earliest start time of 6am to a latest finish time of 11pm Every day, we give our millions of customers the ideas, advice, tools and confidence they need to create a home they’ll love. Role

Your role as a Shift Lead is pivotal in ensuring a safe working and shopping environment. You’re the person who will oversee your shift to cultivate a great experience for both colleagues and customers daily. It’s B&Q’s ambition to make every customer count, so you’ll strive to ensure B&Q is a place colleagues love to work, and customers love to shop. In this role you will:

• Be the heartbeat of the store day-to-day and ensure operations are running smoothly.
• Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
• Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
• Make sure our stores are safe at all times.
