Job summary

Stagecoach Group in London’s Walthamstow Depot is seeking a Shift Fitter to maintain and repair our bus fleet across London. You’ll work with a team of electricians, mechanics and technicians, with some on-road duties to fix issues as they arise.

No prior bus experience is required; training will be provided. A Level 3 engineering qualification in heavy vehicles and a PCV licence are desirable, and the company offers a strong benefits package including pension and travel perks.

Qualifications

• Worked in an engineering technician field – trucks, haulage, automotive, plant or rail; any moving vehicle experience is valuable.
• Desirable Level 3 engineering qualification in heavy vehicles and a PCV Licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair the Stagecoach bus fleet to keep operations running smoothly.
• Be prepared to deal with vehicle issues on the road as needed; on-site and field work.
