We are currently looking for a Shift Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Stanford-le-Hope. The shift patterns will vary from days and nights.

Main Responsibilities

In the role of Shift Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day maintenance activities including planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
  • Meeting statutory and SHE standards as a minimum.
  • This is a day-work role, working on various plant throughout the block manufacturing site as directed on a planned or reactive basis.
  • Recording all work on the site CMMS system.
  • This is a dynamic role, mostly self-motivated and self-supervised, requiring good communication skills.
  • IOSH training will be an advantage.
  • Experience in maintaining/replacement of mechanical parts such as bearings, shafts, and rollers.
  • Skilled with hand tools, bearing presses, and fitting tools.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
  • Experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment.
  • Experience in welding and/or pipefitting would be advantageous.
