Equans is looking for 2x Shift Engineering Supervisors to join our team on site in Westminster, London, on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering 7 days per week. The salary is up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience. What will you deliver?
The role is site-based, managing a large, Grade II* listed government office building in Central London. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring effective management of the engineering team to fulfill all duties using best practices.
You should demonstrate knowledge and experience in areas such as PPM, reactive maintenance, fault finding, electrical infrastructure systems (single and three phase), HVAC, HV/LV switching, electrical isolations, and general building fabric maintenance.
- Manage time effectively to ensure tasks are completed accurately and promptly, maintaining high standards for the client.
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works as scheduled.
- Use own initiative and adapt to flexible working approaches to prioritize and complete tasks professionally.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant parties.
- Uphold safe working processes and procedures.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness and understanding of working within KPIs.
- Experience working on a PFI contract is desirable.
- Experience with CAFM systems is beneficial but not mandatory.

Who are we looking for?
- Broad knowledge of building services
- Experience managing a team, preferably in engineering
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- Familiarity with CAFM systems
- Ability to liaise effectively with management and staff
- Proactive and practical approach
- Basic commercial understanding
- Full clean driving license
- Ability to obtain CTC clearance
- Leadership training, 18th Edition, NVQ in plumbing or mechanical engineering preferred
