ETS Consulting Ltd seeks a Shift Engineer in Preston to maintain and optimise production lines. The role covers corrugators, conveyors, and converting lines, with emphasis on PLC fault finding and equipment reliability.

You will operate on a 4-on/4-off shift pattern with day and night duties, contributing to health and safety compliance and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has an apprenticeship, hands-on experience with automated machinery, and a solid understanding of preventive

Competenze

• Apprentice-trained engineer with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience with PLCs, drives, sensors and automated machinery.
• Understanding of preventive and planned maintenance systems (PPM).

Mansioni

• Corrugators maintenance and fault-finding.
• Conveyor systems including palletisers, strappers and wrappers.
• Box converting lines with print units, cutting units, stacking and folding.
• PLC faulting finding and electrical/mechanical diagnostics.
