Job summary

Zenith Advisory Partners Ltd in Leicester is seeking an Engineering Technician (mech and elec) to maintain high-speed automated lines. You'll diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance, and support production teams on shift in a 4 on 4 off pattern.

You'll ensure compliance with safety standards, keep drawings and records up to date, and contribute to continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades under the Engineering Supervisor.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, or equivalent.
• Solid experience of mechanical maintenance and fault-finding within a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally on high-speed automated machinery.
• PPM and safety/compliance awareness; HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical systems, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors and drive systems.
• Execute planned preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
• Provide hands-on technical support to production teams during your shift.
• Get involved in continuous improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades and new machinery installations with the Engineering Supervisor.
