Shifts: 12-hour Days/Nights Weekends Included

I m looking for a multi-skilled, hands on, Shift Engineer who s ready to roll up their sleeves and make a real impact every shift, every day. If you're an engineering problem-solver with a passion for minimising downtime and maximising performance, this is your next opportunity.

What You ll Do:

  • Be the go-to expert on breakdowns and maintenance fast, effective fixes are your bread and butter.
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to a high standard.
  • Drive OEE and performance improvement across the plant.
  • Tackle electrical and mechanical faults with confidence and skill.
  • Champion Health & Safety, Food Safety, and GMP standards.
  • Collaborate with production, management, and contractors your voice matters here.

What I m Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in an engineering role (food industry experience highly valued).
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • A proactive mindset with a natural ability to troubleshoot and take initiative.
  • Ability to read manuals, interpret technical drawings, and use PPM systems effectively.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in warm environments and at height.

Great to Have:

  • Experience with metal detectors, mixers, depositors, or flow wrappers.
  • Background in a Food /FMCG environments
