Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in London is seeking a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to operate, maintain and manage electrical and mechanical building services with minimal supervision. You will deliver PPM, reactive maintenance and ensure statutory compliance.

You should hold a recognised Level 3 electrical qualification and have experience with commercial electrical systems, safety procedures and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2365/##### or equivalent.
• Apprenticeship or formal electrical training programme preferred.
• Additional knowledge of mechanical or building fabric trades beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and operate site electrical systems, plant and building services.
• Deliver PPM, reactive tasks and statutory inspections to compliance standards.
• Diagnose and complete electrical maintenance tasks; Electrical Bias; must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Support mechanical, HVAC, water systems and general building fabric tasks when needed.
• Update CAFM systems with accurate task status, notes and compliance documentation.
• Follow CBRE QHSE procedures, ensuring safe systems of work and adherence to legislation.
• Liaise with, induct and supervise specialist contractors across electrical disciplines.
• Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment at all times.
• Participate in training, toolbox talks and technical development activities.
• Carry out additional duties or support work required by CBRE Management or the client.
