Job Details

• Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 days off
• Work collaboratively as part of the estates team, providing full operation, maintenance, engineering, and building electrical services that meet statutory and contractual obligations.
• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance efficiently and effectively.
• Use PDA technology to evidence compliance and personal productivity.
• Carry out diagnostic checks and fault finding using multiskilled knowledge, supporting estate teams within your qualifications and abilities.
• Complete all work documentation accurately and promptly.

Core Responsibilities

• Support your Line Manager in all commercial aspects, ensuring statutory and contract compliance.
• Maintain assets according to relevant standards and documentation, ensuring they are in good repair with accurate CAFM records.
• Proactively diagnose and repair faults.
• Record work accurately on worksheets and computer systems.
• Review and suggest improvements to productivity and routines.
• Promote safe working practices, ensuring QHSE compliance, and using Mitie's LiveSafe procedures.
• Use RAMS for all works and carry out first-line assessments, fault finding, repairs, and safe isolations across trades as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
• Adhere to client procedures and obtain necessary access authorizations.
• Ability to carry tools up to 20kg and work at heights.

Candidate Requirements

• City and Guilds 2360 Parts 2 & 3 or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 in a recognized trade training scheme or equivalent.
• IEE 18th Edition Regulations.
• City and Guilds 2391 inspection and testing or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance environments; hospital experience advantageous.
• Motivated, socially responsible, and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to undertake NHS HTM training as required.
