Shift Engineer

A large facilities management organisation is recruiting multiple Shift Engineers for a new flagship site in the Kings Cross area. Based at the headquarters of a leading technology company, you ll be part of a dedicated shift team responsible for landlord services, covering electrical and mechanical maintenance across the site. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) on all electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.
  • Carry out reactive maintenance issues promptly to maintain safety and operational continuity.
  • Monitor and maintain building management systems (BMS) to control HVAC, lighting, and other critical site functions.
  • Carry out testing and inspection of electrical equipment, including three-phase power distribution, emergency lighting, generators, and transformers.
  • Maintain and service pumps, motors, compressors, chillers, and other mechanical plant equipment to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Respond swiftly to emergency breakdowns or alarms, providing expert technical support to minimise disruption.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and reports using digital systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
