Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance execution: Carry out multiskilled planned and corrective maintenance and repairs to relevant standards and in accordance with the site PAM maintenance processes and to meet manufacturers specifications and guidelines. Ensure equipment is available to meet safety, quality, and production needs across all facilities on site.
2. Problem Solving: Use diagnostic tools and experience to identify equipment and process problems and identify modes of failure and/or deviations and/or root causes. Report critical failures immediately to support investigations.
3. Documentation: Complete records e.g. CMMS work orders, datasheets, stores requisitions, equipment logs, data calculation sheets, and performance standards following cGMP guidelines.
4. Improvement projects: Assist in the installation and upgrading of plant equipment to improve reliability and performance.
5. Workshop activities: Facilities used in accordance with safe working practices to support tasks carried out on plant e.g. repairs and refurbishment of control equipment.
6. EHS: Execute work in accordance with Safer Speke through safe working practices, safe systems of work, and risk assessment.
7. Information Technology: Operate and maintain the full range of process control equipment.
8. Training: Own their individual Learning Plan and ensure training is kept current.
9. Coaching: Of shift operational staff in maintenance processes.
10. Performance management: Constantly participates in the Performance Management processes about the setting of objectives and the development and the implementation of a personal development plan.

Minimum Qualification:

Job holder should have completed a recognised apprenticeship and obtained a NVQ Level 3, ONC or HNC (Or equivalent) qualification in the Electrical, Instrument or Control discipline.

Additional Preferences:

Compex certification Levels Ex 05-06 (Dust) and Levels Ex01-04 (Gas) – Not currently applicable at Speke. C&G 2391-52 Testing and Inspection – If completing testing.
