Job summary

RNN Group is seeking a Security and Pastoral Officer to support staff in managing student behaviour, promote positive conduct and supervise learners in communal areas, including moving learners to classrooms. The role is based on campus and requires a visible uniformed presence during all operational hours.

You should have security guarding experience, a valid SIA licence, and a Level 2 English and Maths qualification (or willingness to undertake).

Qualifications

• Experience in a security guarding environment
• Ability to evidence use of CCTV systems and intruder alarms
• First aid experience and training preferred
• Level 2 English and Maths or willingness to undertake

Responsibilities

• Provide uniformed presence during campus hours
• De-escalate conflicts and promote positive conduct
• Supervise learners in communal areas and assist with moving between spaces
• Respond quickly to emergencies and liaise with Security Manager
