Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ/BTEC/C&G or Apprentice trained.
  • Solid understanding of PLC's.
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience required.

If you are an ambitious Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a passion for Automation then we want to speak to you !!
We have a great opportunity to join the growing team at our clients highly automated state of the art distribution centre that is easily commutable from Nottingham, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Doncaster.
As a Multi Skilled Shift Automation Engineer you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of state of the art material handling equipment including, automated storage and retrieval systems, a wide range of conveyor systems, cross belt and shoe sortation equipment, shuttles and end of line boxing and bagging machines to name a few.
Being part of the dedicated Automation team is a physically demanding position that will also require you to work at height, which you will receive full training on when you join the business.

Key responsibilities for a Shift Automation Engineer

  • Planned Routine Maintenance
  • Respond breakdowns proactively to limit downtime taking ownership of issues.

  • Adhere to Health & Safety Guidelines
  • Willing to learn and adapt to role requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience for a Shift Automation Engineer
  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ/BTEC/C&G or Apprentice trained
  • A solid understanding of PLC's
  • Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience
  • Computer Literate
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Work proactively managing time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Confidently work at height.
Salary and Benefits of a Shift Automation Engineer
  • Salary £52,500
  • Shift 4 on 4 off Days & Nights
  • 6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am
