£22,623 per annum

This is a 12 month fixed term student placement opportunity.

About the Role

NTU SHIELD is a psychological coaching service aimed at training psychology students to deliver coaching sessions to young learners aged 11-14. In 2025, SHIELD will be facilitating placement for up to 200 psychology students.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychology sandwich placement student to join NTU’s SHIELD team. As SHIELD Project Assistant, the post-holder will play a vital role in coordinating coaching sessions across partner schools, providing on-site support to students and learners, and acting as a key liaison between SHIELD staff, schools, and student coaches. The post-holder will also champion student voice, contribute to social media and communications, and support operational improvements. The role is ideal for a confident communicator with an interest in coaching, education, or mental health, this role offers rich experience in applied psychological practice.
