Job description

Role:
Sheringham Little Theatre is seeking to boost the ranks of its volunteers who keep the venue running by carrying out roles ranging from set-builder and stage hand, to usher and costume-maker. The volunteering roles at the Theatre are as follows:

  1. Hub coffee bar helper
  2. Usher
  3. Programme seller
  4. Ice-cream seller
  5. Office assistant
  6. Costume technician
  7. Set-builder
  8. Back-stage hand

Whether you’re new to the area and want to meet up with like-minded people, or you would like to gain valuable work experience, devoting a few hours a week to volunteering at the theatre is a rewarding way of supporting a much-loved, community-focused arts venue. It’s also lots of fun!

Time commitment:
Flexible – to be arranged with the Theatre.

About the organisation:
This 162-seat venue, which serves up a year-round mix of entertainment ranging from films and youth productions, to a traditional family pantomime and a famous summer repertory season, also relies on volunteers to help out in its hub cafe and bar.
