Job description

The purpose of this role is to provide proactive, professional administrative and compliance services to assist and complement the SHEQ team.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the representative for the business integrated management systems covering ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO 50001, ISO 27001 & ISO45001.
  • Maintain and control the IMS systems.
  • Raising and management of non-conformance reports.
  • Provide support to devise corrective and preventative actions.
  • Manage documentation revision and generation in compliance change management and document control processes.
  • Manage internal and external audit schedules.
  • Maintain system records required to meet ISO standards.
  • Ongoing liaison with certification bodies and external contractors.
  • Maintenance of external compliance, memberships and PQQ systems including Safe Contractor, Avetta and others.
  • Maintenance of the company legal and risk registers.
  • Maintenance of sub contractor vetting database.
  • Updating company business continuity plan.
  • Conduct site visits to audit logbooks and site records.
  • Auditing internal systems to ensure quality data control.
  • General administration tasks to include raising POs, ordering stationary, scanning, data input, organising meetings, note taking, arranging training.
Essential skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • IT literate and competent with using Microsoft Office packages, such as Word and Excel.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience of maintaining or improving standards BSI Standards, with experience in ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001 and 50001
Desirable
  • Experience of conducting audits and ensuring compliance with standards.
