Job summary

Glenelly Infrastructure Solutions in Kilmarnock seeks a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor to guide projects on SHEQ compliance, support audits, and ensure adherence to HSES regulations.

You will develop training needs, assist with incident investigations, and promote SHEQ initiatives across the business, leveraging NEBOSH training and strong communication to protect personnel and assets.

Qualifications

• Ideally hold or be progressing towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General).
• Experience in SHEQ, health and safety or construction, utilities, DNO or ICP advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing and producing SHEQ reports for managers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Communicate, engage and implement the SHEQ strategy.
• Assist and promote the audit programme and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide SHEQ advice and support at an operational level.
• Support SHEQ training needs and upskilling across the business.
• Assist in near-miss/incident investigations and stakeholder engagement.
