SHEQ Manager required for a packaging manufacturer based in Norwich.

SHEQ Manager - Packaging Position Overview
  1. Operate in a safe way and comply with all relevant Health & Safety legislation in all activities.
  2. Conduct staff inductions and training to ensure safe and competent working environments for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  3. Maintain and improve compliance with current and future accreditations such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, BRCGS, SEDEX, FSC, EcoVadis, etc.
  4. Perform regular health and safety reviews and process updates in line with legislation and company policies, including staff induction and training.
  5. Complete all regulatory and customer audits and facilitate internal audits by providing audit training.
  6. Respond to customer data requests and compliance inquiries.
  7. Ensure compliance with legislation related to manufacturing site operations, including licensing, machinery operation, vehicle management, and site maintenance.
SHEQ Manager - Packaging Position Requirements
  1. Thorough knowledge of a manufacturing environment; experience in print and packaging sectors is highly beneficial.
  2. Understanding of health and safety requirements for manufacturing facilities with relevant qualifications and certifications.
  3. Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills, with an understanding of both SHEQ and broader business needs.
  4. Ability to demonstrate logical problem-solving skills.

  1. Starting salary circa £35,000.
