Job summary

Freedom is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to support our Networks South business in delivering Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality objectives. This role requires regular travel across the UK to support operational teams and clients.

Reporting to the Head of SHEQ, you will lead a team of Safety Advisors across Southern operations, drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with ISO 45001, CDM Regulations and local legislation, and promote a positive health and safety culture

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 HSE qualification.
• Experience leading regional Health & Safety teams.
• Minimum five years at senior management level with SHEQ leadership.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE law, CDM and ISO 45001.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Safety Advisors across Southern operations.
• Drive compliance with management systems and legislation.
• Provide strategic SHEQ guidance to senior leadership.
• Monitor safety KPIs and report monthly.
• Promote industry best practice and client requirements.
