Absolute Solar and Wind is a leading renewable energy specialist company based near Loch Lomond, Scotland. We help businesses to install contemporary low-carbon technologies in solar, wind, biomass, and energy-efficiency solutions.

Requirements:

  • Adaptable and flexible – will need to work flexible hours to meet deadlines / callouts and to work away from home.
  • Full Clean UK driving licence with own transport essential.
  • Significant experience in an SHEQ role with a proven track record of managing H&S across multiple sites
  • NEBOSH Certificate
  • An in depth knowledge of SHEQ management systems

Responsibilities:

  • Provide SHEQ compliance, advice, guidance with applicable legislation and industry best practice.
  • Lead and/or support the investigation of incidents, analyse data and present findings to the management team, including recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Together with the divisional SHEQ team, develop a SHEQ strategy for the company and coordinate delivery with the management team.
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports in relation to performance against objectives, KPI targets and SHEQ performance.
  • Delivery and monitoring of on-site inspections
  • Manage and maintain the company's accreditations, including preparation for internal audits.
