Key Responsibilities

  • Seeking methods to implement and improve company H&S procedures, ensuring compliance with ISO and ESG
  • Complete COSHH risk assessments and identify areas for improvement
  • Train various teams on compliance and H&S procedures, gaining commitment and putting into practice
  • Stay up to date with regulations by actively reviewing guidelines and legislation and ensure company are up to date with any changes
  • Ensure the site is always in an ‘audit ready’ state
  • Promote a strong safety culture across the site

Key Requirements

  • NEBOSH certification
  • Knowledge of COSHH risk assessments – Hazardous substances
  • Experience implanting H&S procedures in a manufacturing environment (chemicals would be a distinct advantage)
  • Strong understanding of safe working practices
