The SHEQ Coordinator will support health, safety, environmental and quality standards across a busy operational business, reporting to the Regional SHEQ Manager and site teams, handling compliance, investigations, audits and management systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in SHEQ, health and safety, environmental management or compliance.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or willingness to work towards it.
• UK driving licence required.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to communicate with operational teams and managers.
• Experience supporting audits, investigations or management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support Regional SHEQ Manager in delivering SHEQ objectives.
• Assist with plans to improve safety, environmental and quality performance.
• Ensure accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformities are reported and investigated.
• Maintain incident files, investigation records and corrective action plans.
• Produce monthly reports on health, safety and environmental performance.
• Build relationships with operational managers and site teams.
• Assist with risk assessments, safety systems of work and COSHH assessments.
• Help develop and maintain local SHEQ management systems.
• Carry out environmental compliance checks at sites.
• Organise external surveys and assessments as required.
• Record and follow up on actions from surveys, audits and assessments.
• Maintain contractor records and waste off-taker documentation.
